Overview

This course is the first level of certification for diving and normally takes 4 or 5 days to complete. It gives you the necessary skills to become a certified scuba diver. Upon successful completion of this course you'll receive an internationally recognized scuba diving certificate that allows you to dive anywhere in the world.

This course is presented in five academic, confined water and open water modules. It starts with the basic knowledge of diving theory is covered by video and instructor presentations. Diving skills are developed in confined water during the first two days of training. Then you must complete 4 open water training dives to become a certified open water diver.

Important Note

All students must sign a PADI Medical Statement prior to starting this course. If you have a history of any medical condition listed in the form a signed clearance from a medical doctor valid within 12 months will be required.
